Jichai 6190/8190zld Marine Diesel Engine Oil cooler Oil cooler 208L.21.00A
Three, oil cooler
The oil cooler is of shell and tube type, as shown in Figure 7.3-1. The cooling pipe is a threaded pipe, which is mainly composed of core set, shell, front cover and back cover. The structure of the oil cooler for various models is too same, but the size of the installation interface is not the same. It is not interchangeable.
3.1 The following matters should be paid attention to in the use of oil cooler
(1) Ensure that the oil and cooling water entering the oil cooler are clean.
(2) When the ambient temperature is low, after the diesel engine is stopped, the water in the oil cooler should be drained to avoid freezing and cracking the copper pipe. The method is: open the water discharge plug and the water discharge valve of the front and back cover, so that the cooling water flows out by itself.
3.2 When the oil cooler is used for a period of time (generally 1500 hours), or when there is blockage, oil and water flow and other faults, it should be dismantled and inspected in time. Methods and steps of disassembly and inspection:
(1) Clean the water and oil in the oil cooler. (2) Remove the oil cooler from the body.
(3) Remove the front and back covers and pull out the core set.
(4) Clean all parts with cleaning solution. When cleaning the core set, the brush should be soaked in alkali water first. Rinse with clean water several times and dry with compressed air.
(5) Check whether the copper pipe is damaged. If individual copper pipes are found to be damaged, both ends of the damaged pipe can be blocked. However, the number of blocked roots should not exceed 10, otherwise it should be replaced with a new one.
(6) Reassemble according to the reverse procedures mentioned above. Note: When installing the core set, align the outer circle of the flange with the "0" mark on the housing. 3.3 After a period of use, check the corrosion status of the zinc block and replace it with a new one if necessary. Here's how:
(1) Drain the water in the oil cooler.
(2) Remove the inlet and outlet pipes.
(3) Remove the front cover and back cover of the oil cooler, remove the fixing screw, and remove the remaining zinc block. (4) Fix the new zinc block on the front and back cover for reassembly.
